Jackson Bramlette

Hailing from Marin County, California, Jackson Bramlette is a rising junior at Columbia College studying Climate System Science with a minor in math. He has been working with the Commane group since the fall of 2024. This past summer, Jackson worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories, where he worked in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area in the Trace Gas Lab. His research consisted of designing an experiment to compare the performance of iPhone and professional grade magnetometers to assess the feasibility of using Citizen Science to identify abandoned oil and gas wells scattered throughout the country.
