The transient nature of universities means that people will inevitably move on from the group. But we hope you will stay in touch!
For your work in the group will be used in a peer-reviewed publication, we must have your permission before including you as a co-author. If we cannot contact you to get this confirmation, then we have to include you in the acknowledgements instead. I understand how important papers are for any future research career, so Róisín will do her utmost to contact potential co-authors. Before you leave, we ask that you provide an ORCID and a long-term email address to Róisín so you can be contacted if any questions arise about your work and especially if you wish to be included as a co-author.
We are still figuring out how best to facilitate the transfer of code to ensure papers can be completed. This is a work in progress and suggestions are welcome!
